Creative Moments Challenge #158 - Christmas

Well I am sad to say that this is my last challenge for Creative Moments. But I was grateful to be working with this gorgeous image from Bugaboo. I have left the card fairly simple as I really didn't think that she needed much embellishing.

 

Thank you to Alex and the Creative Moments Challenge team for having me as a part of the design team, I have had a lot of fun designing with images that I wouldn't normally pick for myself. You are a great team, and I hope that the challenge continues to grow and thrive and encourage the craftiness to continue to the next generations.

My Besties - 15th December 2018

Good morning all

 

I had so much fun doing this project, I got to combine a couple of my favourite products, My Besties image as well has Heartfelt Creations flowers

 

I decided against doing a traditional Christmas card for this one, and went with softer more pastel colours and doubled up a couple of vintage style frames

Creative Moments #157 - Creepmas

This fortnights theme for the Creative Moments Challenge Blog - http://carabbiemomentsofcraft.blogspot.com/ was "Creepmas". Those who know me will know that this really isn't my style, but I will admit that I did have a bit of fun colouring an image that I wouldn't normally pick for myself. I have coloured him in using copic markers. The gate is from Heartfelt Creations - https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/. The title is from Scrapfx - http://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/.

I have used the Prima waxes on the gate and the title to give them some depth.

 

 

 



My Besties December 1 International Challenge

I had a lot of fun colouring in this beautiful image from My Besties for the December 1st 2018 international Challenge.

 

I tried to use bright but soft copic colours and accented both the girls and the unicorns eyes with glossy accents.

 

The background is done with a Darkroom Door stencil and Lindys Sprays.

 

The floral chipboard is from ScrapMatts, and the title from Dusty Attic

Creative Moments #156 World Hello Day

The theme for this fortnights challenge was world Hello Day and to use the word "Hello" somewhere on our card.

 

I had fun on the background of my card using Colour Blast shimmer powders, I was going for an orange background to match the little bit of orange under his vest, but am still pretty happy with the result

My Besties International Challenge - I Love Winter

I have used copic markers to colour her in. I wanted to play and see what pink hair would look like, I was quite impressed with the finished look - you will probably see pink hair again.

The background on the card is just literally using scraps I had in my craft room on a Kaiser Wine Cardstock card base. I used some medical gauze to soften the edges of the picture. And I've had these clear plastic diamond blings in my room for a while, am in love with them and am using them on everything! To give her the glassy eyes I used glossy accents.
