Since my last post I was lucky enough to attend Creativation in Phoenix America. So many new products and ideas!!
I have also been challenged to find the Joy in scrapbooking/cardmaking again. I love designing, playing and teaching. As such it has meant that I have spent a lot of time trying to do what I think people want me to do, and somewhere along the way I lost the Joy.
This year, with the help of the amazing Scrapmatts team, Shelley from the Scrapbook Superstore and my good friend Ruth, I've found the Joy again. I had so much fun doing this layout.
The photo wasn't my first choice, but I thought it was important to do one of myself

My challenge for you  - find a photo of yourself and create a page or a project using some of your favourite Scrapmatts products and other products that you love, create something that brings you joy, then come back and share it with us via the Scrapmatts blog/Facebook etc.
I have used Scrapmatts chipboard flourishes, sentiments and frame. I have also used a couple of the stencils in the background  - details are below

Thanks for spending time with me today. Looking forward to seeing your projects

Creativation 2019

I just wanted to do a quick post about my trip to CreativatiON in Phoenix, Arizona a couple of weeks ago.
It was amazing. There was 2 days of classes to start. I did classes with Darkroom Door, Graphic 45, 49 & Market, Faber Castell, Ranger for alcohol techniques, plus a few business related classes.
Then on day 3 the show floor opened. For someone who hasnt been there before It was mind boggling.
I saw some amazing products and met some amazing people like Tim Holtz, Dina Wakley, Wendy Vecchi and Debbie Moore - there are a few photos below.
I have ordered some new products which I am looking forward to designing with when they arrive.

My Besties International Challenge Blog - Australia Day

Good morning all
This post will be a little late for Australia Day, but Happy Australia Day anyway, I hope that you all managed to have a fun and relaxing long weekend. I spent Australia Day in a plane somewhere between LA and Sydney on my way home from Creativation (I'd say how good it was and what I saw, but I'm writing this post before I've even left)
When I saw Sherri Ann Baldy finish this design I knew that I had to have a play and turn her into a card
The background is done using distress oxides, a stencil and drops of water
