My Last My Bestie DT Post

 

Hi all

 

Well this is my last project as a design team member for My Besties International Blog Challenge. I have had a great time designing with these amazing images and the most amazing team, and image designer, Sherri Ann Baldy!! Thank you!!

 

So this time instead of doing a card which can get lost, or get given away, I thought I'd do a journal page, that way I have it as long as I have my journal.

 

I was also inspired by a class that I did with the amazing Tracy Scott over the weekend. The journal page is done using PaperArtsy paints, stencils and stamps

My Besties September Reminder Challenge

This fortnight i have used this very cute and slighly mischievious looking My Bestie  she is from the Lil Rascals range - IMG499

I have coloured her using copic markers and used a bright background and a combination of home made and store bought flowers, and accented with sequence

This month the theme is Halloween. I decided not to go with normal Halloween colors but stick with my favourite softer vintage colors. 

I kept the background simple using a #Darkroom Door stencil with Distress Oxides. The chipboard is from #scrapmatts

Igot to colour this very cute image this month.
The background was done with a combination of Brusho colours and a water mister.
The die cut is from PaperRose
I have coloured the image using my copic markers and added Glossy Accents to the eyes to give dimension.

This is my first card for My Besties for this month.

The background is done using texture paste, stencil, sprays, and waxes

I have coloured my image using copic markers, and gave his jacket a textured feel by using the "0" and colouring in small circles
